| DIRTY DRIVIN'
on ARCADE HEROES |
|
Last week our friend Adam
from Arcade Heroes came by the studio to check
out Dirty Drivin' and discuss the state of
coin-op in general. It was a great opportunity
for us to talk with someone who is not only
fully in-tune with the industry and a great fan
of coin-op games past and present but also an
owner of an actual arcade.
Adam wrote a very in-depth
article about his visit detailing a lot of the
production of Dirty Drivin'...it's a great read.

Tomorrow, on March 12th our
little company turns four years old. They grow
up so quick these days don't they? It has been a
great ride so far with two awesome games under
our belts.
We are looking forward to
many more years of fun and creativity and
honestly Specular, you don't look a day over
three and a half.

Specular Reflections
| "[Jarvis] has figured it out
where nobody else has," says Ranck. "Nobody's selling coin-op
these days except for Eugene, and he's selling a lot of them. So
he called me up, and he said, 'What are you doing?' I said, 'Not
a whole lot -- just hanging out here, writing some technology.'
And he said, 'I have a project to talk to you about.' So I flew
back to Chicago and saw his operation there. He said he's been
really successful with what he's done, but he's getting a lot of
requests from arcade operators for another boat racing game..." |
